Second Dose Vaccination in South Thousand Islands Sub-district Reaches 61.89 Percent

South Thousand Islands Sub-district achieved the highest vaccination rate compared to other sub-districts in Jakarta Province. Based on data from South Thousand Islands Sub-district Health Center, until September 5, vaccination rate for second dose has reached 61.89 percent of target.

We have vaccinated 5,743 targeted residents aged 12 years to elderly with second dose vaccines

South Thousand Islands Sub-district Health Center Head, Ilmi Tri Indiarto conveyed, there were total 9,279 targeted residents in three urban villages in South Thousand Islands Sub-district.

"We have vaccinated 5,743 targeted residents aged 12 years to elderly with second dose vaccines," he informed, Wednesday (9/8).

97,354 Pancoran Residents Have Been Injected with First Dose Vaccine

Meanwhile, for the first dose, as many as 8,832 residents have been vaccinated or 95.18 percent of target 9,279 residents.

"We still continue to provide vaccination service, such as in Pari Island Health Post, RPTRA Tidung Ceria in Tidung Island, RPTRA Amiterdam in Untung Jawa Island, and Lancang Island Health Center," he added.

He appealed to residents who haven't been vaccinated to get vaccination immediately at the nearest vaccination location. Likewise for those who have been scheduled to receive second dose vaccine so as not to delay it.

"According to scientific facts, vaccination can protect us from severe impacts or symptoms due to exposure to COVID-19," he mentioned.
