RW 06 Pegangsaan Residents Receive Staple Food Packages

Central Jakarta Government collaborated with Betawi Students Communication Forum (FKMB) distributed hundreds staple food packages for residents affected by COVID-19 pandemic at RW 06, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Menteng.

We hope this assistance can help them to fulfill their daily needs

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Irwandi said, staple food packages were distributed to residents affected by COVID-19 pandemic, such as residents who were laid off, whose business went down, and those who had no income.

"We hope this assistance can help them to fulfill their daily needs," he said, Friday (9/17).

The FKMB Head, Hadi Murtadi Ahmad conveyed, this activity was carried out through collaboration between Central Jakarta Government and other CSRs.

"We prepare 50-100 staple food packages containing of 1 liter cooking oil, 5 kg rice, 1 kg rice, 1 kg sugar, 1 soy sauce bottle, 5 packs of instant noodles, two canned foods, and 1 pack salt," he explained.

One of the recipients, Mariyana (74) felt grateful to receive the assistance.

"I am very happy to receive this assistance. It is very helpful, especially for us who don't have fixed income," she mentioned.
