120 People Participate in Blood Donation Held at SKKT Pademangan Timur

Voluntary Blood Donation (Dondarela) event which held to commemorate 61st Karang Taruna Service Month at Sasana Krida Karang Taruna (SKKT) Building, Pademangan Timur Urban Village, Jalan Pademangan IV, RT 09/01, Pademangan Timur Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district, North Jakarta was participated by 120 people.

Pademangan Timur Urban Village Karang Taruna Leader, Rochmad said, Dondarela is a humanitarian action to help others.

"We want to make sure blood stock at PMI is sufficient. Thank God, total 120 people participate in this event from target 100 participants," he conveyed, Saturday (9/18).

This event involved 10 personnel from Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Jakarta in collaboration with local urban village.

"Seeing people's enthusiasm, we want this activity to be held regularly in here every three months," he stated.

Meanwhile, Pademangan Timur Urban Village Secretary, Dedi Syarifudin was proud of noble activity initiated by young people through karang taruna (youth organization).

"Hopefully it can be carried out in sustainable manner, we really support their efforts to meet the blood stock, especially during COVID-19 pandemic," he mentioned.
