Job Fair at ITC Cempaka Mas Invaded by Job Seekers

Thousands of job seekers invaded the job fair held by Central Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-Department on the sixth floor of ITC Cempaka Mas, Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Cempaka Putih, Wednesday (11/26).

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, job seekers, who most of them are under 30 years old, had crowded the location since 8 AM and closely browsed a number of booths opened by companies that offer various job vacancies.

“There are quite a lot of vacancies, but I’m looking for (vacancies) that meet my education. I’m a fresh graduate,” said Achmed (27), one of job seekers.

South Jakarta Opens Job Fair

This job fair will be held until today, Thursday (11/27). As much as 55 companies provide 5,000 vacancies in this event. In addition, Central Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-Department also provides service for job seekers to make yellow card, which is one of the requirements that must be met in applying job.

“The job seekers who come are so many, not only from Central Jakarta but also from Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, and other areas. Especially for yellow card making, we provided 5,000 cards and ran out 3,000 of them in three hours,” stated Head of Central Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-Department Job Placement and Transmigration Section, Jemdiana Simangunsong.
