Prepare Your Umbrellas, BMKG Forecasts Rain Today for Jakarta

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and rain coats as it predicts that rain will pour parts of Jakarta on Tuesday (9/28) noon.

Remember, rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds will hit parts of West, South, and East Jakarta at noon and in the late afternoon

"Remember, rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds will hit parts of West, South, and East Jakarta at noon and in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

In the afternoon, light rain will pour in West, South and East Jakarta, followed by cloudy in Central and North Jakarta. Then Thousand Islands will see clear cloudy.

Afternoon to Evening, Light Rain is Potential to Fall in South Jakarta and East Jakarta

Entering the night, clear cloudy is expected in West, Central, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands, followed by cloudy in South and East Jakarta. In the early morning, clear cloudy would blanket all regions of Jakarta.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands will be 25 to 33 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 55 to 95 percent.
