Jakarta Emerges Overall Champions of Women's Artistic Gymnastic at PON XX

Alhamdulillah, we are grateful and proud of the achievements of Jakarta's artistic gymnastics athletes

Jakarta Province has succeeded in becoming the overall champion of the women's artistic gymnastics at the XX National Sports Week (PON), Papua.

Jakarta Indonesian Gymnastics Association (Persani) Chairman, Eko Pudjihariyanto said, athletes managed to be the best by winning four gold, two silver and four bronze medals.

"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful and proud of the achievements of Jakarta's artistic gymnastics athletes. Not only skill, they also show fighting spirit and sportsmanship in competing," he expressed, Wednesday (10/6).

He also appreciated the coaches who have succeeded in fostering athletes to be able to give their best skills.

"Thank you to the athletes, coaches, Mr. Governor, all ranks of Jakarta KONI, Youth and Sport Agency who have also provided motivation and residents of Jakarta who have prayed for the success of our struggle here to present the title of overall champion," he explained.

He stated athletes should not be complacent, because there are still many challenges in the future.

"Stay focused and use this achievement to continuously increase motivation not to only make Jakarta proud, but also Indonesia," he said.

Jakarta Women's Artistic Gymnastics Coach, Eva Novalina Butarbutar added, four gold medals were successfully presented by Rifda Irfanaluthfi.

"She (Irfanaluthfi) has donated gold from the Team, Women's Individual All-round, Jumping Table and Floor category," she explained.

She also appreciated and thanked all the female artistic gymnastics athletes who gave their best.

"Besides four golds, the Jakarta athletes also won two silvers from the Individual All-rounder and Balancing Beams, and two bronzes from the Tiered Cross and Balancing Beams. Whatever the result, all the athletes have tried their best, thank you," she stated.

As for the information, the gold medals from the Teams were won by athletes Rifda Irfanaluthfi, Trithalia, Armartiani and Nadia Indah Amalia.

Rifda Irfanaluthfi won the gold medal in the All-rounder category, while Trithalia got the silver medal. Then, in the Jumping Table and Floor category, Rifda Irfanaluthfi also won a gold medal.

Then in the Tiered Cross category, Nadia Indah Amalia won a bronze medal. In the Balancing Block category, Nadia Indah Amalia won the silver medal and Trithalia won the bronze medal.
