625 Street Lights on 13 Islands Replaced with LED

Thousand Islands Regency's Technical Unit (UKT) 2 replaces street lights (PJUs) on 11 Residential Islands, as well as Karya Island and Tidung Kecil Island as tourist attractions with Light Emitting Diode (LED) lights.

Thousand Islands Regency's Technical Unit (UKT) 2 Head, Sofyan mentioned, LED lights are installed to replace the old lights that have been operating for about 6 years.

According to him, LED street lights installation is carried out in stages by involving other individual service providers (PJLP) personnel.

"We have been started the installation from October 4, 2021 and it is targeted to be completed in November," he said.
