Thousand Islands Regency's Technical Unit (UKT) 2 Head, Sofyan mentioned, LED lights are installed to replace the old lights that have been operating for about 6 years.

"Not only better in lighting, LED is also more efficient and can be controlled remotely," he stated, Thursday (10/7).

According to him, LED street lights installation is carried out in stages by involving other individual service providers (PJLP) personnel.

"We have been started the installation from October 4, 2021 and it is targeted to be completed in November," he said.
