Jakpreneur Fashion & Craft With Kota Kasablanka Exhibition Reaps Hundreds of Millions Turnover

Jakpreneur Fashion & Craft with Kota Kasablanka exhibition was officially closed on Sunday (10/10).

This collaboration with private sector can certainly support development of entrepreneurship in Jakarta

The exhibition, which was held since September 29, managed to generate turnover Rp 356,000,000.

Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo stated, this exhibition is a pilot project of Jakpreneur Goes to Mall program which expects more modern shopping centers can duplicate similar program in order to expand marketing of MSMEs and crafters in the future.

"With total 36 MSME participants in fashion and craft, the turnover reaches Rp 356,000,000 in 12 days. This exhibition is a pilot project for MSMEs to continue to make new and fresh products, promote their products, and refresh their loyal customers and new customers," she said, Monday (10/11).

This event was held as one of efforts to make a real contribution to economic recovery during COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, it could be also the first step of a major program in building cooperation with other malls in Jakarta to hold similar events.

"This collaboration with private sector can certainly support development of entrepreneurship in Jakarta," she asserted.

For information, this exhibition was held in collaboration between Jakarta Government through PPKUKM Agency and Kota Kasablanka Mall as the private sector.

This exhibition raised a theme of 'UMKM Bangkit Jakarta Tangguh' (MSMEs rise, Jakarta is Tough) which mostly participated by Jakarta Dekranasda members. Their products were displayed in two location, namely Mosaic Walk and Kota Kasablanka Mall Atrium Fashion.
