Nawawi Admits He was Helped by KSBB Food Program Initiated by Jakarta Government

Nawawi (42), the owner of Warteg Bahari Mandiri in Pulogebang Permai, Cakung, East Jakarta admitted that he was greatly helped by Large-Scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) Food program initiated by Jakarta Government.

The man who has been in culinary business since 16 years ago assessed that KSBB Food program could support business owners to rise from adversity due to COVID-19 pandemic.

"This collaboration program really helps us in reviving business that has been hit hard by COVID-19 pandemic," said the man from Sidakaton Urban Village, Dukuh Turi, Tegal Regency, Central Java.

East Jakarta Mayor Distributes Food to Traders in Pulogebang

During KSBB Food program implementation in East Jakarta, precisely in Permai Market, Pulogebang, Cakung, on Monday (10/11), his warteg (food stall) received an order of 250 servings, where the price is Rp 15,000 for each serving.

"We have prepared 250 food boxes to be distributed to residents. The funds are covered by third parties who have collaborated with Jakarta Government," he said.

Each servings distributed to residents for today's KSBB program, he mentioned, consisted of vegetables, fried chicken, and fried tempe.

"I hope KSBB food program can be continued. At least once a month thus warteg owners can be assisted in running their business," he conveyed.
