150 Joint Personnel Join Efforts to Remove Mud from Jalan KH Moh Mansyur

West Jakarta Mayor, Yani Wahyu Purwoko led Gerebek Lumpur (mud cleanup) action that involved 150 joint personnel to remove mud from the 200-meter long water channel alongside Jalan KH Moh Mansyur, Jembatan Lima Urban Village, Tambora, West Jakarta, on Sunday (10/17).

Aside that, he was also collaborating with the community and private party in intensifying the construction of infiltration wells to anticipate flooding.

He went on to say that similar action was also spotted at the Jelambar Selatan connecting channel (phb) in Jelambar Baru Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan.

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Head, Purwanti explained, those 150 joint personnel were from SDA Sub-agency, Environment (LH) Sub-agency, Bina Marga Sub-agency, Parks and Urban Forest Sub-agency, local residents, LMK, FKDM, and RT and RW caretakers.

"Normalizing is carried out to 40 to 50 centimeters depth manually. We also have sent 10 dump truck to the location," he exclaimed.
