The Jakarta administration is pushing Gerebek Lumpur (mud cleanup) program in five city regions of Jakarta massively and simultaneously.

Yusmada Faizal, Jakarta Agency Head of Water Resources (SDA) said, it has been ongoing since March 24 for East Jakarta area. It would then be continued in 4 other city areas in stages from September to December.
To execute it, he stated, the agency has collaborated with the mayor, cross-agency, urban village, and sub-district in each region by deploying more heavy equipment to speed up the dredging of mud and garbage.

Central Jakarta
Location: Krukut River - Jalan Bendungan Hilir - Batavia Tower
Work: September 21 to December 31, 2021
Dredging yield target: 12,060 m3
Dumping Site in Ancol area
South Jakarta
Location: Krukut River - Jalan Jenderal Sudirman - Jalan Gatot Subroto
Work: September 9 to December 15, 2021
Dredging target: 5,338 m3 with 1.2 km length
Dumping site in Rawa Minyak
North Jakarta
Location: Sunter River, Front of Rawa Badak Pump and Front of Artha Gading Mall
Work: has started for about a month, targeted for completion in December 2021
Dredging target: Rawa Badak with 11,200 m2 width with a volume of 17,920 m3 and Artha Gading with 8,400 m3 width
Dumping site from Rawa Badak in Beting area and front of Artha Gading in Ancol
West Jakarta
Location: Mookervart River - Semanan - Rawa Buaya
Work: September 13, 2021 to December 2021
Dredging yield target: 36,000 m3
Dumping site in Ancol area
East Jakarta
Location: Munjul Reservoir
Work: March 24, 2021 to December 2021
Dredging target: for dredging the Munjul Reservoir with 44,197 m3
