Odd-Even Traffic System in Tourist Attraction Areas Only Applies to Four-Wheel Vehicles

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has imposed odd-even traffic system in Ancol Taman Impian, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), and Ragunan Zoo. Starting October 22, this odd-even traffic system applies every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 12:00-18:00 WIB.

This odd-even traffic system doesn't apply to two-wheel vehicles

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo conveyed, odd-even traffic system in 3 tourist sites applies to four-wheel vehicles or more.

This policy refers to Jakarta Governor's Decree No. 1245/2021 on Enforcement of Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Level 2 Corona Virus Disease 2019 and Jakarta Transportation Agency Head's Decree No. 438/2021 on Technical Guidance for Traffic Management Implementation with Odd-Even System During PPKM Level 2 COVID-19

Starting Today, Odd-Even Policy Applies in TMII Area

"This odd-even traffic system doesn't apply to two-wheel vehicles. Moreover, it is only valid from Friday to Sunday. We will also prepare personnel and post to control odd-even mobility in 3 tourist sites," he explained, Thursday (10/21).

His side informed that visitors who had purchased entrance ticket online before implementation of odd-even traffic system could still visit the tourist site by parking their vehicle in parking lot which is located not far from tourist site.

"This policy only applies for vehicles that entering tourist sites. It doesn't apply to other road users who want to pass through the area," he mentioned.
