Belakangan kericuhan yang dilakukan oleh Organisasi Masyarakat (Ormas) diwilayah Jakarta semakin marak. Perlunya wadah untuk berkomunikasi antar ormas, melatarbelakangi Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Jakarta Selatan membentuk Forum Lintas Organisasi Masya.

The South Jakarta Administration tries to stop the anarchy between mass organizations. Under a cross-organization forum, it is hoped they can unite each other.

"So far, they need a place to communicate. Miss communication might caused a chaotic," said Syamsuddin Noor, South Jakarta Mayor, Tuesday (11/27).

The mass organizations joined in the forum are Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Pemuda Pancasila, Forum Betawi Rempug (FBR), Forum Komunikasi Anak Betawi (Forkabi), Komite Nasional Pemuda Indonesia (KNPI), Front Pembela Islam (FPI), and others.

South Jakarta Nation Unity and Politics (Kesbangpol) Head, Tafdil said, this forum is formed as the pilot project for other city administrations to unite mass organizations.

"All mass organization leaders in South Jakarta want to unite without conflict, we only facilitate the forum as well," he stated.
