30 Joint Personnel Clean Up Garbage and Mud in Kampung Melayu

Kampung Melayu Urban Village Head, Angga Harjuno said, those joint personnel consisted of PPSU, Water Resources (SDA) Task Force, as well as Fire and Rescue Sub-agency. They were immediately cleaning up garbage and mud left after the river overflowed to RW 04, 05, 06, 07 and 08. To optimize it, a pump machine also deployed to the location.
"There are around 15 PPSU members assisted by 10 SDA Task Forces and five firefighters. So far so good, everything goes smoothly," he said.

"At 11:30 AM, no more inundation," he explained.
Sanusi (45), a resident of RT 14/04 Kampung Melayu, appreciated the quick response of the personnel who join residents to remove garbage and mud carried by the current during the flood, which was sent from Bogor, West Java.
"The peak of the inundation itself was at around 2 AM with 160 centimeters high. However, starting at 5 AM, it gradually receded," he concluded.
