50 Rebuked for Not Wearing Masks in Tegal Alur

This is done to curb the spread of Covid-19

As many as 50 people were netted for not wearing masks in the mask operation conducted on Jalan Menceng Raya, Tegal Alur Urban Village, Kalideres, on Wednesday (11/10).

Kalideres Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Selvi Rachmawati said, the operation involved 35 personnel was aimed at strengthening public compliance with the use of masks when doing activities outside the home to curb the spread of Covid-19.

"This is done to curb the spread of Covid-19," she expressed.

Of these 50 violators, 37 were subject to social sanctions for cleaning up garbage around the location and 13 were sanctioned with administrative fines by Rp 1,000,000.

"This is done to give a deterrent effect thus residents always wear masks when doing activities outside their homes," he stated.
