South Jakarta SDA Repairs Channel on Jalan Timbul IV Cipedak

South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is repairing channel on Jalan Timbul IV, RT 10/06, Cipedak Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district.

Hopefully it can minimize inundation especially when heavy rain falls

South Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Mustajab mentioned, it was repaired by installing an u-ditch along 325.60 meters with 60 centimeters width. This repair work has been started since 2 weeks ago by deploying 10 South Jakarta SDA personnel and one heavy equipment.

"We normalize the channel thus it can be functioned optimally and connect water flow system. Hopefully, it can minimize inundation especially when heavy rain falls," he stated, Tuesday (11/16).

Until today, his side has repaired channel as long as 150 meters. In order to anticipate inundation, he was trying optimize and accelerate the repair work without reducing quality standards that have been determined according to the rules.

"According to the schedule, it will be completed by the end of December. Hopefully, channel can accommodate water optimally," he conveyed.
