The National Monument (Monas) Management Unit appreciates the 12 bicycles donated by London City Government to Jakarta Provincial Government that are planned to be used in Monas.

Head of Monas UP, Rini Hariani, said that before using the bicycles, she will ask first to Jakarta Governor Basuki ‘Ahok’ T Purnama whether the bicycles to be used for Monas UP operational or for Monas visitors.
“We will ask it to the governor first. But for now, the bicycles cannot be used by the visitors because Monas area has not sterile yet,” she stated, Sunday (11/30).
London Govt Donates 12 Bicycles to City GovtAccording to Hariani, since the amount of bicycles is limited, it is likely they would not be used by the visitors. That is because she worried the visitors would scramble to use it.
“For now, the bicycles will be used by (Monas) security officers,” she told.
