Three Bridges Construction Work in Matraman Has Touched 60 Percent

Three bridges construction in Utan Kayu Selatan and Utan Kayu Utara Urban Villages, Matraman, East Jakarta which started in the end of October, has now reached 60 percent. The work is targeted to be completed in mid-December.

These bridges will be one of the icons of Matraman Sub-district

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency's Road and Bridge Section Head, Budi Cahyo stated, the construction is currently in the process of casting preparation. Before casting, personnel checked all areas that will be cast to ensure it is safe and not damaged.

"We are currently preparing for casting the bridges on Thursday (12/9). For now, we check the condition first thus casting result can be optimal, sturdy, and no damage," he added, Wednesday (12/8).

Sidewalk on Jalan Imam Bonjol is Being Arranged

He targeted the construction work of those three bridges can be completed by mid-December.

"The current progress has reached about 60 percent," he informed.

He mentioned, two bridges were located on Jalan Balai Rakyat RW 07 Utan Kayu Utara and one bridge on Jalan Galur Sari Timur RW 01 Utan Kayu Selatan. His side will also beautify it by installing concrete with unique patterns for the floor and painting the railing.

"These bridges will be one of the icons of Matraman Sub-district," he said.
