The police are asked to act decisively in arresting the people who committed brawl as a deterrent effect. This is related to the brawl which happened among residents on Jalan Tambak, Menteng, Central Jakarta, and the locals of Gang Tuyul, Manggarai, South Jakarta, that broke out on Sunday (11/30).

“The police should have acted decisively. This is their authority. If I had the right to arrest the perpetrators (involved in brawl), I would have done it,” asserted Head of Menteng Sub-District, Bondan Dyah Ekowati, Monday (12/1).
Meanwhile, Menteng Sector Police Chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Gunawan stated that his party cannot arrest nor question the brawl perpetrators yet because his men are still finding out the trigger of this case.
