Bridge's Wall Repairs on Jalan Raden Saleh Near Completion

Workers of the Menteng Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit, Central Jakarta are repairing the wall of the bridge on Jalan Raden Saleh, RT 03/03, Cikini Urban Village.

After it is done, the bridge will look neater and improve the safety and comfort of passing road users

Menteng Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Bogi Widiatmiji stated, the wall collapsed after being crashed by a motorcycle.

"That's why, we immediately make repairs to anticipate potential accidents," he expressed, Wednesday (12/15).

Prior to repair, the broken wall was only covered with flower pots. He said, the repairs were carried out by rebuilding a wall that was 2.7 meters length, one meter height and 30 centimeters width.

"Today, we will do the finishing by giving yellow, black and gray paint. Then the bottom is plastered with natural stone patterned walls," he explained.

So far, the repairs made since Monday (12/13) have reached 90 percent and will be completed today.

"After it is done, the bridge will look neater and improve the safety and comfort of passing road users," he said.
