Anies Expects Jakarta RT/RW Forum to Strengthen Its Solidarity as Government's Partner

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan attended inauguration of Jakarta RT/RW Forum DPP structural for period 2021-2026 at Jakarta City Hall, on Friday (12/17). The inauguration was carried out by Jakarta RT/RW Forum DPP General Chairman, Mohamad Irsyad.  

Please strengthen your solidarity and maintain the harmony

In his remarks, Anies hoped Jakarta RT/RW Forum could always strengthen its internal thus it could carry out organizational functions optimally as partner of Jakarta Government in helping disseminate various programs to the community.

"Please strengthen your solidarity and maintain the harmony. Because maintaining solidarity and integrity is not just managing programs, but also feelings. Meaning, we don't just manage human resources, but also their hearts and minds. In fact, good habits at work must be also maintained in order to complete a good work," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

He also expressed his highest appreciation to Jakarta RT/RW Forum which during four years of his reign, has helped a lot in completing various works, especially in handling COVID-19 pandemic.

"We thank RT/RW Forum for collaborating in handling COVID-19 pandemic, especially in managing vaccination activities to run optimally. Thank God, situation in Jakarta is now under control," he stated.

On the other hand, Jakarta RT/RW Forum DPP General Chairman, Mohamad Irsyad appreciated ranks of Jakarta Government who have always been present in supporting various activities which organized by this organization since its establishment.

"We appreciate Jakarta Government for its support for various programs of RT/RW Forum. We have built synergy within these four years to realize mission of Advanced City of Jakarta, Happy Citizen of Jakarta. We plan to re-strengthen human resources in the organization thus we can be optimal in socializing Jakarta Government's programs to the public," he mentioned.

For information, RT/RW Forum which was declared on June 10, 2016 at Proclamation Monument, Central Jakarta, is now five years old. Its members are RT/RW administrators throughout Jakarta Government. On June 13, 2021, the First General Meeting of Jakarta RT/RW Forum was held with result of structural formation of Jakarta RT/RW Forum DPP Period 2021-2026.

This inauguration was attended by Jakarta RT/RW Forum Secretary General, Andi Meinar Pane; Jakarta Secretary, Marullah Matali; Jakarta Secretariat Governance Assistant, Sigit Wijatmoko, and ranks of Jakarta Government.
