City Adds Integrated Public Service Outlets in Shopping Centers

Jakarta Government inaugurated the Integrated Public Service (SAMSAT) Outlet in two shopping centers/malls on Saturday (12/18).

This Integrated Public Service Facility is provided to bring the service closer to the residents and shorten the process to realize easily accessible and transparent public services

Those Integrated Public Service Outlets were located at Cililitan Wholesale Center (PGC), Kramat Jati, East Jakarta and Kebayoran Metro Mall, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.

Integrated Public Service Outlet at PGC was inaugurated symbolically by Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria (Ariza) on the second floor of PGC Building, Jl. Dewi Sartika, East Jakarta.

In his remarks, he stated that Jakarta Government through PMPTSP Agency, Bapenda, and Dukcapil Agency continued to provide best public services including services related to motor vehicle tax, extension of SIM A and SIM C, as well as population and civil registration services.

On that occasion, he also conveyed his prayers in the context of celebrating PGC's birthday. He hopes Integrated Public Service Outlet at PGC would make it easier for Jakarta residents, especially for East Jakarta residents, to access the services in one place.

"Happy birthday PGC, hopefully it can continue to contribute in Jakarta's economy and support government in controlling COVID-19 by being disciplined in implementing shopping center operational procedures during the pandemic. Currently, there are 11 outlets in malls and shopping centers in Jakarta. This Integrated Public Service Facility is provided to bring the service closer to the residents and shorten the process to realize easily accessible and transparent public services," he mentioned, as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

Providing Integrated Public Service Facilities in malls and shopping centers shows that Jakarta Government is committed to give best service for the community, through door-to-door system to the place where many people gather, one of which is shopping center/mall.

"I really hope this Integrated Public Service to immediately improve its service to online via application, for example. Thus services can be done online through application; while still opening offline and online services," he said.

He also reminded Jakarta residents to take advantage of end-year regional tax incentives before the time runs out. People who pay Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) at SAMSAT outlets during the period can get tax incentives based on Gubernatorial Regulation (Pergub) No. 104/2021.

The following is policy related to Vehicle Motor Tax (PKB) incentives:

a. For taxpayers who pay PKB principal for tax year before 2021 within period of December 14-31, 2021, will get 5% principal tax relief.

b. PKB principal for 2021 is given 5% relief for taxpayers who pay within period of December 14-31, 2021.

c. Abolition of administrative sanctions for late payment for 2021 and before 2021.

It should be noted that along with inauguration activity, the signing of latest collaboration related to SAMSAT outlet was also carried out with eight other mall managements.

Now, Jakarta residents can pay their annual PJB at 11 shopping centers/malls in Jakarta, namely Cililitan Wholesale Center, Kebayoran Metro Mall, AEON Mall Jakarta Garden City, Grand Cakung, Tamini Square, Blok M Square, Gandaria City, Taman Palem Mall, Lippo Mall Puri, Pluit Village, and Pasar Pagi Mangga Dua.

These additional alternative places for PKB payment were expected to facilitate residents to pay their annual PKB obligation, because SAMSAT Outlets are located in strategic area and close to community economy activity.

SAMSAT Outlets in shopping centers/malls are operating on Monday-Friday at 10:00-14:00.

The inauguration of SAMSAT Outlet at PGC was also attended by Bapenda Head, Lusiana Herawati; Jakarta Government officials; Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya ranks; PT. Jasa Raharja; PT. Bank DKI; National Land Agency for Jakarta Province; and PT. Wahana Cipta Sejahtera.
