According to him, his side had taken various steps to increase tax collecting of total 11 types of taxes in East Jakarta, including to give warning letters, summon taxpayers, and put stickers/signpost on tax objects that have not been paid.
Moreover, his side also intensively socializing people about regional fiscal incentives in 2021 in form of principal tax relief and abolition of administration sanctions for Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2), Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB), Vehicle-Ownership Transfer Fee (BBNKB), and Acquisition Duty of Right on Land and Building (BPHTB) which is valid until December 31, 2021.
"After regional fiscal incentive policy is completed, the system will return to normal as before. Thus for non-compliant taxpayers, legal action will be taken in accordance with provisions of applicable tax laws," he stated.
