JPO Tubagus Angke Butuh Perbaikan
Kondisi Jembatan Penyeberangan Orang (JPO) yang ada di Jalan Raya P. Tubagus Angke, Kelurahan Wijaya Kusuma, Grogol Petamburan (Gropet) sangat mengkhawatirkan. Menurut warga sekitar hampir lima tahun lebih JPO yang biasa disebut JPO Pesing belum pe.

Pesing JPO in Tubagus Angke Needs Repair

The condition of a Pesing Pedestrian Bridge (JPO) on Jalan Raya Pangeran Tubagus Angke, Wijaya Kusuma Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan, is very worrying. Ironically, the bridge has not been repaired nearly five years.

We will repair the bridge next year

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, the bridge stairs and its banister already perforated and rusty. Even some must be covered by wood in order to prevent casualties.

Suwinto (28), one of local residents expressed the damage has occurred since long. He should be careful when crossing due to most of the stairs is porous and vulnerable to collapse.

JPO Galur Needs Maintenance

"Indeed, the bridge has damaged for a long time and never repaired. Whereas, the bridge role is very important or the nearest access to cross," he stated, Tuesday (12/2).

Meanwhile, Head of Traffic Unit Management Section for West Jakarta Transportation West Department, Herlambang asserted the bridge will be repaired in the 2015 budget. "We will repair the bridge next year," he stressed.
