Dukcapil - Religious Ministry Launches Integrated Service Program

The Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Agency, launched an integrated service for marriage records at the Religious Affairs (KUA) Office via Sakinah application.

Its launching was signed with the signing of the cooperation agreement between Dukcapil Agency with Religious Affairs Ministry's Region Office, at the Religious Affairs Ministry's Region Office Hall, Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Monday (1/3).

Government Assistant for Jakarta administration, Sigit Widjatmoko, handed over civil documents in the form of ID cards, family cards and marriage books, to newly married couple.

Dukcapil Agency Head, Budi Awaludin explained, using Sakinah application, residents who got married at KUA could get a marriage book, family card and e-ID card whose status had changed. They no longer need to come to the Dukcapil office to change their status.

"This integrated service is already one package," he explained.

As for the initial stage, it was already implemented in 10 KUAs spread across five city areas. Of 10 KUAs, two were Duren Sawit and Jatinegara (East Jakarta); Setiabudi and Kebayoran Lama (South Jakarta); Tanjung Priok and Cilincing (North Jakarta); Palmerah and Kembangan (West Jakarta); Menteng and Kemayoran (Central Jakarta).

"In early February, it is targeted to be implemented in all KUAs," he added.

Religious Affairs Ministry's Region Office Head, Cecep Khairul Anwar expressed his gratitude to the agency for establishing this collaboration, in a bid to provide good, optimal and excellent public services.

"With this integration, we can provide excellent service to residents," he said.

To change the status of a newly married citizen, it takes a maximum of three days to process the population data.
