The 500-square-meter wide temporary waste disposal site (TPS) in Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands, relocated.

Kelapa Island Urban Village Head, Irfan Damanhuri said, the TPS located in RW 02 belongs to one of the foundations and will be used in the near future.

"It is relocated to a 450-square-meter wide land in RT 05/01 owned by the Jakarta administration," he expressed, Thursday (1/6).

According to him, the new location close to the pier would make it easier for officers to transport waste to KM Bersih Laut after the sorting process was carried out.

"TPS is starting to actively operate from today," he explained.

For new land opening, there were about 40 PPSU personnel and 33 personnel of Environment Sub-agency assisted by locals.

"So, let's take care of each other and don't litter to maintain cleanliness at the location," he stated.
