Energize Process and UGC Ketapang-Mangga Besar Relocation for MRT Phase 2 Project is Completed

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) appreciated support from PT. PLN (Persero) in MRT project. Through West Java Main Development Unit, PT. PLN (Persero) has succeeded to energize and relocate 150 kV Ketapang-Mangga Besar Underground Cable (UGC).

He explained that process of energizing and relocating UGC 150 kV Ketapang-Mangga Besar which carried out since November 2020 has been completed and operates on May 4, 2021 with length of 0.32 KMS. This work is carried out using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) method.
"This project is one of PT. PLN (Persero)'s efforts to improve reliability of electricity supply in Capital City Ring 1 area," he stated.
According to him, PT. PLN (Persero) has contributed since MRT Jakarta Phase 1 construction until it is operating by providing electricity network infrastructure to support Jakarta MRT's needs of electricity supply. Success that has been achieved by MRT Jakarta up to this day cannot be separated from supports of various stakeholders and the community.
