As seen on Jalan Kalibaru Timur, Utan Panjang Urban Village, Kemayoran Sub-District, Central Jakarta. Tens of trees in this location are rarely pruned, thus they are prone to fall during rainy season.
“The trees here are rarely pruned. We are worried they might fall at anytime, especially nowadays heavy rain and strong wind often happen. Hopefully related unit could immediately prune the trees along Jalan Kalibaru Timur,” expressed Rusmadiah (54), a local, Wednesday (12/3).
1,260 Trees to Be Planted in East JakartaResponding that, Head of Central Jakarta Parks Sub-Department, Jansen Saragih, stated that trees pruning in Kemayoran was already programmed at sub-district level.
“We’ll check again. It (trees pruning) should have been done,” he said.
