Baznas Bazis Collaborates to Distribute Educational Aid

Jakarta Baznas Bazis together with Hidayatullah Regional Leadership Council had prepared tuition assistance for 50 students from underprivileged families.

This is a must, especially the young generation in Jakarta to have equality and the opportunity to continue their education to higher education levels

This collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Community Program Synergy and Education Fee Assistance between the two parties.

Jakarta Baznas Bazis Chairman, Akhmad H, Abubakar said, the MoU is the Jakarta administration's commitment to the welfare of its residents, especially outstanding school and college students who come from underprivileged families.

"This is a must, especially the young generation in Jakarta to have equality and the opportunity to continue their education to higher education levels," he expressed, Monday (1/24).

His party had implemented similar programs, such as scholarships for the lower-middle class who are studying for undergraduate (S1) and diploma (D3) programs at top state universities.

There was also educational funding assistance given to educators such as PAUD teachers, honorary teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), and TPA teachers.

Then assistance for underprivileged Jakarta residents to redeem school diplomas to assistance for improving teaching and learning facilities.

"With the MoU, Hope it can strengthen the knot of collaboration for the happiness of the residents," he hoped.
