Petukangan Utara Residents Get Booster Shots at Bhinneka RPTRA

Residents living in Petukangan Utara Urban Village, Pesanggarahan Sub-district, South Jakarta, enjoyed the Covid-19 vaccination service for booster of third dose held at Bhinneka Child-friendly public space (RPTRA), Jalan Swadarma Raya, RT 06/04.

Residents are very enthusiastic to participate in booster vaccines

Petukangan Utara Urban Village Head, Syopwani said, together with Pesanggrahan Sub-district Puskesmas team, his party has been opening the vaccination at Bhinneka RPTRA since two weeks ago.

"Residents are very enthusiastic to participate in booster vaccines. Within a day, more than 100 people have been vaccinated," he expressed, Wednesday (1/26).

To succeed it, he is also collaborating with various parties to open a vaccination center service in the Petukangan Utara Urban Village.

"Vaccination centers opened in Petukangan Utara Urban Village are in Pesanggrahan and Petukangan Utara sub-districts Puskesmas, as well as state and private schools (first and second doses)," he explained.

According to the data until January 24, as many as 43,847 out of 53,679 targeted people or around 81.68 percent in Petukangan Utara had received booster shots. After passing through data collection stage, most unvaccinated people have moved or died.

"We commit to optimize it by bringing vaccination services closer to residential areas," he stated.
