Ariza Reminds Jakartans to Beware of Increase in COVID-19 Cases

Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria reminded residents to increase their awareness by implementing health protocols due to an increasing number of active cases due to Omicron variant transmission.

According to him, Jakarta Government had improved its monitoring and evaluation. People who had been vaccinated were asked to remain careful and carry out health protocols properly.

"We want PeduliLindungi is strictly enforced in malls and markets," he asserted.

He explained that restaurants, malls, offices, tourist attractions and cafes had been given opportunity to open their businesses by following the regulation. Therefore, he asked apparatuses on the field to take a firm action against anyone who violated health protocols.

"We are improving and tightening monitoring on health protocols implementation," he mentioned.
