KPCPEN: Booster Shots in North Jakarta Reach 99,061 People

The National Economic and COVID-19 Recovery Committee (KPCPEN) keeps intensifying the vaccine booster program in North Jakarta area.

Based on the KPCPEN's data until Tuesday (2/8), around 99,061 had received booster doses. This number will continue to grow

Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Arief Wahyudi disclosed, the KPCPEN's booster program has been carried out since January 12, 2022, until now.

"Based on the KPCPEN's data until Tuesday (2/8), around 99,061 had received booster doses. This number will continue to grow," he said, Wednesday (2/9).

Jakarta Intensifies Booster Shots to Public via JAKI

According to him, residents who want to take part in vaccinations can check their invitations via the PeduliLindungi application. Those who already have digital tickets are asked to immediately go to the nearest vaccination center or health center.

Besides booster vaccines, the health center is also still providing vaccinations for the first and second doses.

"In North Jakarta, in overall, as many as 1,919,292 people had received the first dose and 1,627,213 had received the second dose," he stated.
