Jakarta's Latest Official COVID-19 Figures as of February 11

The Jakarta COVID-19 Quick Handling Task Force announces the latest information of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases as of February 11.

The number of people tested last week has reached 380,339

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head Dwi Oktavia Tatri Lestari stated, the number of active cases in Jakarta today increased by 5,311 cases, bringing the number of active cases to 81,590 (people who are still being treated/isolated).

Based on the latest data, the PCR tests had been carried out on 86,663 specimens. 60,664 of them were to diagnose new cases with 10,707 positive and 49,957 negative results. She furthered the WHO test target is 1,000 people tested by PCR per million populations per week (not specimens), meaning that the WHO target for Jakarta is a minimum of 10,645 people tested per week. "This target has been surpassed by Jakarta for some time. The number of people tested last week has reached 380,339, while 839,352 people have undergone the PCR tests," she added.

Of these cases, 945,079 people have been cured with a cure rate of 90.8% and 13,950 people died with a world with a death rate of 1.3%, while Indonesia's death rate was 3.1%. The positivity rate in the last week in Jakarta was 23.2%, while in Indonesia was 11.6%. WHO also set a standard percentage of positive cases of no more than 5%.

Meanwhile, the vaccination process is still ongoing. The total vaccination dose 1 was currently 12,156,064 people (120.6%), with a proportion of 71% was residents of Jakarta and 29% were non-residents of Jakarta.
