20 Cubic Meters Mud Cleaned Up from Channels on Jalan Agung Timur 1

The Tanjung Priok Sub-agency Water Resources (SDA) Unit cleaned up 20 cubic meters of garbage and mud from water channels on Jalan Agung Timur 1 RW 11, Sunter Raya Urban Village, North Jakarta.

We hope, there will be no inundation during heavy rains

Tanjung Priok Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Deny Tri Hendarto stated, the cleaning was carried out, because the channels were silting up due to thick mud sediment. The work has been carried out since Wednesday (2/9) and is targeted to be completed on Monday (2/14).

"The channels have a depth of 80 centimeters," he said, Saturday (2/12).

Arrangement Work Intensified in Panggang Island Urban Village

For this work, his side deployed 8 personnel and 1 mini excavator to the location. They normalized the channel as long as 200 meters and crossing channel as long as 6 meters with 80 centimeters width.

It was expected to increase channel's capacity to minimize inundation on Jalan Agung Timur 1.

"We hope, there will be no inundation during heavy rains," he conveyed.
