The South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-agency has noted that they had issued as many as 531 marriage registrations from October 2021 to January 2022.

South Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-agency Head, Salimin said, according to Dukcapil Agency Head's Decree number 130/2021, marriage registration for non-Muslims can be served at every Sub-district Task Force Dukcapil.

He explained residents who want to register for marriage must come to the Dukcapil Task Force office by bringing a church blessing letter, ID card, family card, and photo.

"The registration process until the issuance of marriage registration certificate can be completed on the same day. This is free of charge," he expressed, Tuesday (2/15).

Certainly, his sub-agency would continue to provide population and civil registration services in urban villages, sub-districts, and service units in Jakarta.

"We are still open the service while complying with health protocols during PPKM level 3," he stated.
