PPAPP Agency - Nine BUMDs Collaborates to Form SAPA Posts

The Jakarta Women's Empowerment, Family Planning, and Child Protection Agency (PPAPP) Agency is collaborating with nine regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) to form the Friends of Women and Children Post (Pos SAPA).

Those nine BUMDs are PT Transjakarta, PT MRT Jakarta, PT LRT Jakarta, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ), PT Bank DKI, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, PT Jakarta Tourisindo (Jaktour), Perumda Pasar Jaya, and PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro).

PPAPP Agency Head, Tuty Kusumawati said the SAPA Post would be an initial reference that families and employees in the BUMD office could use to file complaints and obtain information and education communication (KIE) services for violence.

Thus far, her party has trained three representatives from each BUMD as the person in charge of the SAP Post operations.

"They have been trained in handling cases, assessing victims, and making referrals if there are cases that cannot be handled at the SAPA Post," she expressed, Tuesday (2/22).

According to her, it is a commitment to support and be actively involved in the implementation of the Women's Breeding Program, Child Protection and Disabilities in Jakarta. It is expected to accelerate the handling of cases of violence against women and children.

As for the information, the SAPA Post is already located in all LRT, MRT stations, several Transjakarta bus stops.

Then at PT FSTJ Office on Jalan Pisangan Lama, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, Bank DKI Office on Jalan Petojo Binatu II, Gambir, Central Jakarta, PT Jaktour's office at Jalan Letjend Suprapto, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, PT Jakpro's office at Thamrin City Building, Central Jakarta, and Pluit Junction, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.
