The Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency and the Polda Metro Jaya have been launching community compliance with vehicle emission tests on 24 roads in Jakarta during 2022.

We do not announce which roads will hold this operation. If we tell it, the rider will avoid it

Environmental Pollution Control Division Head, Tiyana said it aims to see the level of compliance of vehicle owners with emission tests.

She explained the officers would stop the passing vehicles to check the status of the emission test. If they had undergone and passed the emission tests, they could continue the trip. If not, they would directly undergo the emission tests on the spot.

She explained this step was taken to raise awareness and foster a sense of responsibility for vehicle owners not to pollute the environment.

3. Vehicles that have not undergone emission tests will undergo emission tests on the spot

4. Testing takes about 5-10 minutes
