Children Park Project in N. Jakarta Delayed

Children park construction at RW 10 Sunter Jaya, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta is finally canceled due to problem in auction process at Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement (ULP).

The auction process has run since November, but still no companies signed the project up to today

Rp 1.6 billion as the project fund proposed by North Jakarta Sub-dept. of City Park is returned to Jakarta Financial Management Body (BPKD). The fund will be proposed again next year.

"The auction process has run since November, but still no companies signed the project up to today. I guess they are incapable constructing park in less than a month," told Fajar Sauri, N. Jakarta Parks Sub Department Head, Sunday (12/7).

City Builds Integrated Parks in 6 Regions

Because there is no company to join, his side decides cancelling the project. "But next year, the children park project will be proposes again," he uttered.

In other side, Sauri added, his side has built 3 parks in N. Jakarta. Besides using city budget, the parks construction also involve privates party.

The three constructed parks are Gorontalo park, Sungai Bambu park in Tanjung Priok Sub District, and Pelepah park in Kelapa Gading Sub District.
