700 Bus Prepared in Kampung Rambutan Terminal

Kampung Rambutan Terminal management, Ciracas, East Jakarta provides hundreds of bus as the Christmas and New Year transport starting from December 18, 2014 to January 2, 2015.

We provide 700 bus fleet to departure of 1,000 passenger per day. We will ask PO owner to add the bus if still not enough

M Tampubolon, Integrated Management Unit (UPT) Head of Kampung Rambutan Terminal said, his side provides 700 bus units to anticipate the hike of passenger especially on H-3 to H-1.

"We provide 700 bus fleet to departure of 1,000 passenger per day. We will ask PO owner to add the bus if still not enough," said M Tampubolon, Sunday (12/7).

Zebra Operation, 480 Vehicles Ticketed

700 buses will be divided as 3 shifts, starting from 7 AM to 3 PM for Sumatra island, Java, Bali, and surrounding areas destination.

"The system is similar with last year," he added.

He predicted the amount of passenger during Christmas and New Year holiday will increase 20 percent. "Last year passenger was 21 thousand people, while this year we predict about 25 thousand people," he continued.

Meanwhile, Pulogadung terminal also provides additional fleet by 550 buses to accommodate 11 thousand passengers.
