Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Vice Chairman, Mohamad Taufik visited the location that would become a Formula E (E-Prix) race track in the Ancol Dreamland area, North Jakarta, on Sunday (3/6).

According to him, his arrival aimed to find out firsthand the progress of the work carried out by PT Jakarta Propertindo/Jakpro.
"Thus far, the work progress has touched 54 percent. We're optimistic it can be complete in the upcoming April," he stated.
Commission B Monitors Formula E Track in AncolHe also assured that the quality of the circuit was following international standards considering it had passed through the stage of supervision and control from the constructor.
"It is also permanent and can be used for years," he added.
Similar optimism also came from PT Jakpro President Director, Widi Amanasto. He was confident the circuit, which is built along 2.4 kilometers with 12 meters in width would launch in early April.
"With 48 percent of progress remaining, we can finish by the end of March," he stressed.
