It was said by Thousand Islands PPAPP Sub-agency Head, Hary Sutanto regarding the visit of Kak Seto, a child observer, to Regency Plaza on Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district, because he wanted to greet and pay attention to children of Thousand Islands
"Hopefully, with the synergy between SKPDs, we can support all aspects of child-friendly services which oriented to child protection to maintain Thousand Islands' title as Child-Friendly Regency," he stated, Friday (3/11).

"We appreciate Kak Seto's visit and distribution of masks and dolls for children. Hopefully, it can motivate Thousand Islands children to grow and develop better," he expressed.
Based on existing population data, he continued, 30 percent of the total population in Thousand Islands are children aged 0-18 years.
"They have the potential to become our next generation, if children can grow and develop well, in terms of health, education, and others," he mentioned.
As previously reported, an event called 'A Million Dolls and Mini Masks from Kak Seto to Thousand Islands Children in 2022' was held at Regency Plaza, Pramuka Island, on Thursday (3/10). It is enlivened with storytelling, playing, and joint pledges to stop violence and build a child-friendly island.
