Revitalization Project at Panjang Island Religious Tourism Site Accelerated

Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi said the progress of development in the religious tourism area of the Maulana Mahmud Zakaria Tomb on Panjang Island has reached 80 percent.

Hopefully, it can attract investors to develop Panjang Island

"Hope it can be completed one hundred percent thus it can be inaugurated and opened to the public. Moreover, the holy month of Ramadan is coming soon," he expressed, Monday (3/14).

According to him, the revitalization of religious tourism sites on Pulau Panjang includes the construction of a mosque, a 200-meter-long block road access, a helipad, infrastructure for tourists and pilgrims such as ablution places, toilets, gazebos, and drainage systems.

"Hopefully, it can attract investors to develop Panjang Island," he hoped.
