2,368 Street Lights Repaired in South Jakarta

A total of 2,638 malfunctioned street lights (PJU) in 10 sub-districts in South Jakarta have been repaired from January to February 2022.

There are 1,287 street lights repaired in January and 1,351 other street lights in February

South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head Heru Suwondo mentioned those 2,638 street lights had been repaired by personnel from the City Utility Infrastructure and Street Lighting (PSUKPJU).

"There are 1,287 street lights repaired in January and 1,351 other street lights in February," he informed, Tuesday (3/15).

1,644 Malfunctioned Street Lights in North Jakarta Repaired

He explained that thousands of street lights have malfunctioned in the light cable network, LED lamp armature, time switch, cables, contact outlet cable network, street light polearms, and contact loss on twisted aerial cable wiring.

"We immediately deploy personnel to repair PJUs for pedestrian convenience," he stated.

His side received complaints regarding damaged street lights from the local urban village head, CRM application, and personnel monitoring in the field.

"Most complaints are in Pasar Minggu Sub-district and the least are in Pancoran," he added.

His side assigned personnel to guard for 24 hours in each sub-district for handling complaints immediately.

"In the field, they coordinate with related agencies to conduct the repair," he closed.
