The Kampung Ramadan carnival is held in the Doyok Field, RW 07, Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district, which aims to provide a place of business for MSMEs to sell various residents' needs during Ramadan.

There will be around 40 MSME traders enliven the carnival

South Jakarta Baznas Bazis Coordinator Chairman Yasdar said the carnival was realized in collaboration with the South Jakarta administration.

"Doyok field was chosen, because of its strategic area. There are around 40 MSME traders enliven the carnival," he expressed, Tuesday (4/5).

Thus far, he was also still mapping other strategic locations to hold similar carnivals in other urban villages in South Jakarta.

"So, the Kampung Ramadan in Jati Padang will be a pilot. The mayor also supports us to hold the same carnivals in other urban villages and we are ready," he explained.

He stressed that MSME traders who sell at the carnival would not be charged for renting a place to sell or for free.

"We want this to be helpful for them to increase their income. We also collaborate with RT/RW administrators to invite residents to shop for various needs in the carnival," he stated.
