It is in line with the requirement for a booster vaccine for residents who will go on mudik (homecoming) to celebrate the forthcoming Eid al-Fitr.
Polda Metro Jaya Chief Insp. Gen. Pol. Fadil Imran said the service would be done every day in terminals and other crowded places, like modern shopping centers, traditional markets, train stations, and so on.

"Our target every day is about 1,000 doses," he stated, when he monitored the service at the terminal.
To maximize it, he would dispatch all ranks of resort and sector police at 335 points with a daily target of 143,000 doses using Pfizer, Astra Zeneca, and Moderna vaccines. Then the elderly would receive the Sinovac vaccine.
Lestari (42), one of the participants said it was very helpful, as the location was close to her house in Pulogebang. She took the vaccine to anticipate the inspection when traveling to her hometown before Eid al-Fitr.
"It's been two years without going home, so I'm planning to go home with my family this year," she expressed.
Pulogebang Bus Terminal Public Relations Sub-division Head Junaedi explained that the number of passengers at the terminal was still empty. There were around 1,000-1,200 passengers per day this week.
"This is still normal. Even if there is an increase, the volume of passengers at the beginning of Ramadan is predicted to increase by around 3-5 percent," he added.
