BMKG Warns of Rainstorms in West, East, and South Jakarta from Noon until the Late Afternoon

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has warned of possible thunderstorms in some areas of Jakarta today, on Monday (4/11).

Rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds in short duration is predicted to hit West, East, and South Jakarta from noon until the late afternoon

"Rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds in short duration is predicted to hit West, East, and South Jakarta from noon until the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

BMKG issued that most areas of Jakarta would see rain with low intensity at noon, starting from Central and North Jakarta; while light rain accompanied by thunder and strong winds in South, East, and West Jakarta; and cloudy in Seribu Islands.

Residents Can Monitor Real-time Weather Conditions via BPBD Website

At night, cloudy is expected in West, Central, North, and Seribu Islands; while light rain is in South and East Jakarta.

Entering at dawn, all areas of Jakarta are forecast to see cloudy, except in Seribu Islands with light rain.

Temperatures in five regions and Seribu Islands are predicted at 24 to 43 degrees Celsius with an air humidity of 70 to 95 percent.
