Ahok Looks for Businessman to Fill TMR Board of Trustees Chairman Position

Jakarta Governor Basuki ‘Ahok’ Tjahaja Purnama has accepted Hashim Djojohadikusuma resignation from his position as Ragunan Zoo (TMR) Board of Trustees Chairman. To fill in the vacant position, Ahok assessed that the figure who is suitable for the job is someone with business background like Djojohadikusuma, but also loves animals and plants.

“We’re still looking for Djojohadikusuma’s replacement, someone who has money. If possible, also someone with hobby and has a heart,” he stated, Wednesday (12/10).

Ahok admitted that he is impressed with Djojohadikusuma’s performances during his tenure. This is because all of the financial statements which previously not transparent, are now crystal clear.

TMR Supervisory Board Head Position Vacant

“Have you ever known people who did not get paid for their work, but the reports made were complete? That’s why we want to learn the reports from Mr. Hashim Djojohadikusuma,” he said.

As reported earlier, Hashim Djojohadikusuma resigned from his position as Ragunan Zoo Board of Trustees Chairman starting yesterday, December 10, 2014. Djojohadikusuma was chosen by former Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo based on Jakarta Governor Decree No. 737/2013 which signed on May 7, 2013.
