Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Conducts Fire Socialization in 38 Locations

The Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency has carried out fire socialization in 38 locations from Thursday (4/14) to Friday (4/15).

Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head Asril Rizal mentioned fire socialization was carried out by visiting densely populated settlements.

"Our personnel go around the settlements to educate residents about fire handling and prevention using loudspeakers," he stated, Monday (4/18).

Gulkarmat to Add More Fire Stations in the Capital

At each location, he deployed two to three personnel equipped with one quick response bike and one light rescue bike. Socialization was carried out in the morning from 8 AM to 5 PM.

"This is more effective since we directly target the residents. During Ramadan, we will continue to conduct fire socialization in all areas in rotation every day," he explained.

Gulkarmat personnel carried out fire socialization in 38 locations in Petojo Utara, Gelora, Pegangsaan, Menteng, Johar Baru, Kampung Rawa, Paseban, Kramat, Cempaka Putih Timur, Rawasari, Gunung Sahari Selatan, Kebon Kosong, and Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Villages.
