Last January, East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency had conducted fire socialization in 544 locations in 10 sub-districts.

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head, Muchtar Zakaria said, socialization was carried out in residential areas, educational facilities, and places of worship using door-to-door method.

"Because it is still in pandemic situation and PPKM Level 2 period, we socialize people about fire prevention door-to-door," he added, Friday (2/4).

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Fire Prevention Section Head, Edi Parwoko stated, from total 544 locations, socialization had been carried out in 91 places of worship, 438 collector roads, and 15 educational facilities.

In socializing people about fire prevention, his side used loudspeakers, put stickers in points that were easy for people to read, and distributed pamphlets.

Komarudin 1 RT 08/05 Penggilingan, Cakung; Jl. Panca Warga IV RW 04 Cipinang Besar Selatan, Jatinegara; Jl Padat Karya RT 08/01 Pondok Kelapa, and others.
