Food Samples Taken from Five Supermarkets in West Jakarta for Laboratory Test

Tens of joint personnel from West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency, Health Sub-agency, and Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small Medium Enterprise (PPKUKM) Sub-agency have conducted food inspections in five supermarkets.

West Jakarta Economic Section Head Iqbal Idham Ramid stated Satpol PP personnel were also involved in food inspection carried out at Hypermart Puri Indah (Kembangan), Superindo (Kedoya Utara), Transmart (Central Park), Hari Hari (Kalideres), and Grand Lucky (Taman Sari).

From Puri Indah Hypermart, personnel took 48 food samples, consisting of 24 samples from agricultural products, 16 samples from fishery products, and 8 samples from livestock products.
From Hari Hari Supermarket, personnel took 49 samples, consisting of 24 samples from agricultural products, 17 samples from fishery products, and 8 samples from livestock products.
From Superindo, personnel took 46 samples, consisting of 22 samples from agricultural products, 16 samples from fishery products, and 8 samples from livestock products.
From Transmart Central Park, personnel took 49 samples, consisting of 22 samples from agricultural products, 19 samples from fishery products, and 8 samples from livestock products.
Meanwhile, from Grand Lucky Taman Sari, personnel took 45 samples, consisting of 22 samples from agricultural products, 19 samples from fishery products, and 8 samples from livestock products.
His party tested the pesticide content in samples in agricultural products, tested the rottenness in livestock products, and tested the formalin content in fishery products. The laboratory testing results stated that all products sold in five supermarkets were negative for hazardous substances.
